Public 63-Day Comment Period Open for Proposed Au Train Township Master PlanNOTICE OF 63-DAY COMMENT PERIOD ON PROPOSED AU TRAIN TOWNSHIP MASTER PLAN The Au Train Township Board has authorized the distribution and public comment period on its proposed Master Plan pursuant to the Michigan Planning Enabling Act. The public comment period will be open April 21 to July 1, 2025. After this period, the Au Train Township Planning Commission will hold a public hearing to accept additional comments on the proposed Master Plan.
Copies of the proposed Master Plan may be viewed at the Au Train Township Hall by appointment.
Digital copies of the plan may be viewed at www.autraintownship.gov and www.cuppad.org.

**FOOD DRIVE – AU TRAIN TOWNSHIP FIRE DEPARTMENT** DECEMBER 6th

Once again this year our volunteer members of the Fire Department will be doing a Door to Door Food Drive starting at 12 noon on Saturday, December 6th.  You can also drop items off at the Christmas Fire Hall that day.  

All items donated will stay local! Your support is appreciated. 

**NOTICE OF MEETING**

A Work Session Special Meeting of the Planning Commission is scheduled for Thursday, December 18, 2025 at 6:30PM. Continued review and work on the necessary amendments to the Zoning Ordinance is the purpose of the meeting.

CUPPAD continues to assist the commission on this process.

Liquids of any kind
Batteries!!! (Several have been left in the Old Plank Road Dumpster and next to Carts)
Large construction items that will get stuck in the dumpster
Steel/metal should be brought to the landfill to be recycled (no cost)
ALSO,
Everything must be in the cart and the lid closed or your entire cart will not be picked up. If you have more than one – they must be placed 3′ apart.
