AND PROPOSED ZONING ORDINANCE AMENDMENT Please be advised that the Au Train Township Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on the adoption of the proposed Au Train Township Master Plan. The Planning Commission will then conduct a public hearing for proposed amendments to the Au Train Township Zoning Ordinance. The purpose of the amendments are to revise and amend sections of the Ordinance regulating the application process for conditional use permits, and the application process and regulations for short-term rental uses. After receiving comments, the Planning Commission may review and discuss any comments received and recommend action to the Township Board. The public hearings will take place at 6:00pm ET on July 10, 2025 at the Au Train Township Hall, N7569 Spruce St. Au Train, MI 49806. A copy of the draft Master Plan and draft Ordinance amendment can be found at www.autraintownship.gov. **GARBAGE PICKUP DELAYED** Monday, January 19th.

Due to the Highway closure today, Monday garbage pickup will be delayed to Tuesday. Because of that all garbage will shift and be picked up the next day (Tuesday picked up Wednesday, etc) throughout the week.

You can take care of any necessary business – License Renewal/Application, Vehicle Registration, Register to Vote and more. No appointment is necessary!

**2026 Township Board Meeting Dates**

The Au Train Township Board will meet on the second Monday of each month for 2026, at 6:00 PM (unless noted otherwise), at the Au Train Township Hall/Community Building, N7569 Spruce St., Au Train MI 49806.

**The Property Tax Millage Rate proposed to be levied to support the proposed budget will be a subject of this hearing.”

The Proposed Budget will be available for review on the Au Train Township website, www.autraintownship.gov at least 8 days prior to the meeting date.

**NOTICE OF MEETING**

The Planning Commission will hold a Meeting on Thursday, January 15th at 6:30 pm. This is their Annual Organizational Meeting and will continue with a work session for ongoing review of the Zoning Ordinance, noting necessary updates. Regular Meeting dates for 2026 will also being established.
